BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
MINIMUM AGE, FITNESS LEVEL & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Our minimum age requirement is 16 years of age accompanied by their Parent / Guardian, or 18 years of Age.
This is an adventure activity and requires a Medium to High level of fitness.
You must be able to swim and be confident in the water.
A high level of health is also required. If you are pregnant, have back issues or mobility issues you will not be able to participate in this level of activity that we provide at this stage.
If you have a medical condition and are unsure if you are physically able to participate in the activity we recommend you speak to us and a medical practicioner.
MEDICAL QUESTIONAIRE & LIABILITY WAVER
Prior to your trip you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and sign our liability wavier form.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly advise purchasing your own travel insurance to cover yourself for possible unforeseen circumstances. Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of clients which are beyond our control.
PAYMENT & DEPOSITS
5 Day Trip - The Best of Futaleufú
A minimum deposit of 20% must be made at the time of booking. Full payment must be received 45 Days prior to the commencement date of your trip.
Full Day / Half Day Rafting
Full payment must be made upon booking.
Hiking Trips
Full payment must be made upon booking.
RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
5 Day Trip - Best of Futaleufú
Any changes must be made in writing (& accompanied by phone call) 30 Days or more prior to the commencement date of your trip. - Change of date can be made subject to availability on another date without charge. Cancellations 30 Days or more prior to your trips commencement date will receive a full refund less the deposit.
For all cancellations received less than 30 days prior to your trip commencing a refund will not be issued. Please email us and call us regarding this matter should this occur.
Half Day / Day Trips - Rafting & Hiking
Rescheduling of day trips can be made 24 hours prior to the departure date at no extra charge. Date changes are dependant on availability.
Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to you scheduled half day or day trip will forfeit 100% of your money paid.
Cancellation by Rio Futaleufú Rafting due to unforeseen circumstances:
Rio Futaleufú Rafting reserves the right to cancel any trip due to conditions outside of our control: water level, extreme weather or significant safety concerns. Should a cancellation of this nature occur, your money will be fully credited toward another trip. If we deem the situation as too dangerous for any given number of reasons, Rio Futaleufú Rafting reserves the right to substitute another adventure for the scheduled day with no refund or credit applied.
If we are forced to cancel a trip due to lack of people scheduled/booked for a given day, your money will be fully refunded or applied to a future credit, you shall make the determination. All refunds and or credits will be limited to funds actually paid to Rio Futaleufú Rafting and will not include additional expenses incurred by guests.
Additionally, Rio Futaleufú Rafting reserves the right to deny, any person access to the day of rafting or activity if safety and or health are a concern. The safety of the entire party must be considered in these personal, one on one, situations. If it is a case of intoxication or substance abuse NO refunds OR credits are offered or are made available.
